14 | 15 STANDARD REDUCER Use T494 or P980-5000 Thinner for standard reduction up to 95°F/35°C AND humidity greater than 30%. HIGH TEMP/LOW HUMIDITY REDUCER T595 and P980-5085 High Temp/Low Humidity Thinner are available for temperatures above 95°F/35°C AND humidity below 30% RH. NOTE: Use High Temp/Low Humidity Reducer only when both conditions are present. If used outside of these conditions, extended flash times may occur. TIP: When in doubt, check viscosity to ensure 23–28 seconds. See next page for viscosity details. ADJUSTER OPTION Use of T492 or P925-1250 Adjuster enhances the basecoat film properties and is ideal for use on leading edge parts, such as bumpers, fascias or low-profile front ends. NOTE: T492 or P935-1250 Adjuster can be used in all mixes to improve application window. Do not exceed 10% of color volume. MODIFIER OPTION Use of T493 or P935-1255 Modifier provides basecoat with the highest level of film integrity. Always use in conjunction with Adjuster and DO NOT exceed 5%. NOTE: Pot life is reduced to 1 hour when modifier is used. Check with your PPG rep for further details.
