Use the PAINTMANAGER ® program, COLORMOBILE ® application or refer to the index in your Variant Deck. 3. Select correct deck. 4. Locate chip(s) for OEM color. 5. Plaque chips to vehicle. 6. Check other chromatically arranged chips, and select the best match to vehicle being refinished. 7. Mix the formula for the chip selected using PaintManager program software. TIPS: When the RAPIDMATCH ® spectrophotometer is available, follow the procedures outlined in the RapidMatch Quick Reference Guide. When possible, use natural sunlight to select the best color for the repair. Color inspection lights are a good secondary light source. Use polishing compound to clean the surface before evaluating chips.
