The DIN 4 viscosity cup is used to measure the viscosity or thickness of a liquid
a�er reduc�on and addi�ves are mixed together while it is prepared for
spraying. Besides reduc�on, the thickness of the paint can also be a
func�on of product temperature. The warmer the product the
thinner it will be.
The DIN 4 cup helps to ensure that no ma�er what the condi�ons are,
the thickness of the paint before spraying is always correct.
