Arch and Bill Hood called on Milestone
Paint and Body in Nashville, Tenn.,
to restore their 1925 Dodge Type
B sedan before it joined the Dodge
Brothers Centennial Tour, celebrating
the 100th anniversary of the motor
car company's founding in 1914. The
car had been warehoused for 50
years. Milestone owner Jacob Miles
gave the Dodge a thorough ground-
up restoration, fabricating new body
panels and using authentic antique
Dodge parts. Once the car was rebuilt,
Miles turned to PPG for a concours-
worthy finish, comprised of DELTRON
®
DMD 1688 Basecoat Black and many
coats of DCU 2021 Clearcoat. This
historic beauty will continue to
tour with the anniversary celebration
throughout 2015, appearing at
regional NSRA and Goodguys events
across the country.
