SUNLINER ROADTRIPPER
A pristinely restored 1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner, wearing a PPG finish, led the pack
during this year's ARP/Street Rodder Road Tour. The Sunliner is the product of three
of today's hottest customizers: California's Starlite Rod & Kustom of Torrance, and
Hollywood Hot Rods of Burbank, as well as the Roadster Shop of Mundelein, Ill. The
'61 Ford's Blue Flame paint finish, PPG code 922373, was expertly applied by the
Starlite crew, using ENVIROBASE
®
High Performance basecoat and several coats of
EC530 Performance Clearcoat.
The Sunliner was driven by Road Tour Director Jerry Dixey as the annual tour visited
NSRA, NHRA and other major events across the country. He's been leading the
tours for 20 years and has always driven a vehicle guaranteed to attract attention
wherever it goes. This year was obviously no exception.
