PPG'S COLORFUL EXHIBIT AT DISNEY'S EPCOT PPG's GLIDDEN ® paint brand is rolling out a new colorful world at Epcot, part of the Walt Disney World Resort, this fall. Called "Colortopia," PPG is working in collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineers to create a highly interactive color experience for children and adults of all ages. "Pairing the magic of the park experience with the magical role color plays in our lives is an exciting opportunity for the Glidden brand," said Mark Lancia, senior brand manager, Glidden brand of PPG Architectural Coatings. "We're excited to share the Colortopia experience with the park's visitors from around the world." Guests to the Colortopia exhibit will encounter unique interactions through fun and surprising hands-on activities. Park visitors will be able to extend the Colortopia exhibit experience throughout Epcot and to their own homes with a mobile application and website set to launch later this year. JOIN US AT SEMA! NOVEMBER 3–6, IN LAS VEGAS TEAM PPG 5 When Honda's all-new flagship sports car, the NSX, reaches its first customers in early 2016, PPG will already have received global repair approval from Honda Japan for the stunning supercar. Exterior styling is a spectacular highpoint of the NSX. Every element of the low, wide and sleek aerodynamic body is designed to reinforce the car's state-of-the-art credentials. Attention to detail can be found everywhere, including a truly dynamic color selection. Customers will be offered multiple three-stage color options, including PPG's cutting-edge ANDARO ® tint dispersion technology. This innovative, PPG-developed technology provides the ability to achieve deep, pure and more chromatic colors than is possible with traditional pigments. And the close relationship with Honda goes even further. PPG coatings technology will actually be applied at Honda's new Performance Manufacturing Centre in Marysville, Ohio, where the second-generation supercar will be produced. HONDA APPROVES PPG FOR FLAGSHIP NSX INVESTING IN COLORFUL COMMUNITIES PPG is investing in global communities where the company operates with the launch of a $10 million initiative called "Colorful Communities." The program aims to enhance, protect and beautify the neighborhoods where PPG operates. Support for Colorful Communities projects will go beyond grants. Together with community partners and PPG employee volunteers, the program will support projects that transform community assets. Examples of projects include creating bright murals for libraries, repainting hospital corridors with uplifting colors and hiding graffiti on community buildings with a fresh coat of paint. The program is currently engaged with a number of communities and expects to complete more than 14 Colorful Communities projects this year in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. "PPG cares about the communities where our employees live and work, and we are committed to being a responsible business, employer and neighbor," said PPG Global Corporate Social Responsibility Executive Director Sue Sloan. "This commitment is reflected in the support we provide to projects that focus on education and community sustainability."
