SPEEDSTER

Wayne Carini has been "Chasing Classic Cars" since he was a
little kid fetching tools for his dad. Now, as host of one of the
most popular automotive shows on television and the owner of
F40 Motorsports in Portland, Conn., Carini still loves driving the
classics. Meet his newly minted '32 Ford Speedster. One part
hot rod, one part sports car and inspired by post-WWII European
roadsters, the car was designed by Steve Moal and custom-built
by Moal Coachbuilders of Oakland, Calif.
Every detail of this flathead V8, two-seater was crafted to fit
Carini perfectly—including the paint. The speedster was finished
in a "Garini Green" custom mix, with "Garini Light" accents, used
with the ENVIROBASE
®
High Performance system. Carini created
the colors and Darryl Schneider of Moal Coachbuilders handled
the paintwork.
