"Vicious Mustang," a '65 Mustang owned by Chris Marechal, created a major buzz
when it debuted at the recent SEMA show. Marechal commissioned Jason Pecikonis
and his talented crew at Timeless Kustoms in Camarillo, Calif., to elevate the car
from mild to mighty. And Timeless Kustoms did exactly that. What started out as
a simple coupe ended up as a head-turning fastback with a 1,000-hp
Ford Performance 5.1L Aluminator engine and a predator stance
accented by its awesome custom-mixed Vicious Silver Titanium
finish. Pecikonis painted the Mustang himself,
using VP2050 DTM High Build
Primer, ENVIROBASE
®
High
Performance basecoat and D8115
Matte Clearcoat.
NOT JUST ANY "AFTER THOUGHT"
This radically chopped, 1930 Model A Coupe, powered by a supercharged, Ardun-
equipped flathead, reached acclaimed Great 8 finalist status during this year's Detroit
Autorama Ridler Award competition. Coined "After Thought," the menacing coupe is
owned by Ted and Colleen Hubbard and was built by Andy Leach and his team at CAL
Automotive Creations in Omaha, Neb. The killer, old-school paint scheme was created
by Charley Hutton at his Charley Hutton Color Studio.
Charley gave the car body its "Paleozoic Sea Blue" finish using ENVIROBASE
®
High
Performance waterborne basecoat. Accent colors included Pepper Grey on the engine
and chassis and "After Thought Gold" on the wheels. D8152 Performance + Glamour
Clearcoat was used on the body and D8115 Matte Clearcoat over the satin colors.
