YELLOW
INFERNO
BEAST IV
MAKEOVER
Elite painter Darryl Hollenbeck
and his crew at Vintage Color Studio,
Concord, Calif., chose automotive
refinish products from PPG to give the 1953
Beast IV Streamliner—a legendary record-
breaking racer—its fresh blue and yellow finish.
Hollenbeck's effort was part of a major restoration
project by Dan Webb and Ashley and Cory Taulbert at
Webb Automotive Art in Grand Blanc, Mich., to return the
vintage speedster to glory. Hollenbeck and team members
Darrell Schneider and Dennis Sayers replicated the car's original
paint job. Eric Reyes provided the elegant lettering and detailing. The
restoration was commissioned by the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports
Museum presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California in Pomona,
where Beast IV is on permanent display.

The 2017 Street Machine of the Year award at the 20th annual Goodguys PPG Nationals

Lakeville, Minn. The Camaro was built and painted by the talented team at the Roadster
Shop, Mundelein, Ill., under the direction of owners Jeremy and Phil Gerber. Inferno
blends styling, power and an expert paint job by Alan Palmer. The brilliant McLaren
Volcano Yellow finish (code 937178) was applied using ENVIROBASE
