WINNERS
Two spectacular pickup trucks won the
PPG Dream Car awards at the Goodguys

PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio.
A 1955 Chevy owned by Joe and Josh
Bailey, a father-son team from Maryville,
Tenn., and a 1940 Ford owned by Robert
Anderson of Savannah, Ga., were judged
as the best for outstanding use of color,
design, gloss and execution in a paint job.
The Baileys worked evenings and
weekends in their home shop to give the
Chevy its winning paint finish,
using DELTRON
®
DBC Basecoat
and DCU2002 High Solids
Polyurethane Clear. The colors
selected were PPG Fender
Guitar Surf Green and 1957 Chevrolet
India Ivory.
Anderson entrusted his Ford to Steve
Legens at Legens Hot Rod Shop in
Martin, Tenn. Legens and painter
Keenan Hailey chose ENVIROBASE
®
High
Performance waterborne basecoat and
D8152 Performance + Glamour Clearcoat
to create the award-winning custom
green finish.
