GREAT 8 HIGHBOY
A 1932 Ford highboy roadster, wearing a PPG finish painted by Charley Hutton,
was a Great 8 Finalist vying for the prestigious Ridler Award at this year's Detroit
Autorama. Owned by Al Nagele of Wilmette, Ill., the car was built by the Roadster
Shop, using a modified Brookville Roadster body and a
Chevy engine packing 500-plus horsepower.
Body modifications include a stretched
hood, modified cowl, raised wheel
rear openings and frenched '39
Ford taillights. Hutton used the
ENVIROBASE
®
High Performance
paint system to create the
stellar Jaguar Topaz metallic
finish (PPG code 27900).

This 1934 Chevy made a winning impression on the judges at the 46
th
annual National Street Rod Association (NSRA)
Nationals Plus and was honored with a PPG Best Use of Color award. The Chevy was built by Mark Giambalvo, owner
of Creative Rod & Kustom in Womelsdorf, Penn. Technician Jason Dunkelberger gave the car its rich two-tone paint job
using the DELTRON
