Mosquito ultralight helicopters, manufactured by Composite FX, Trenton, Fla., owe
their colorful looks to the DELTRON
®
line of paints and coatings. The company was
once known as Marine Maintenance, and used PPG products for its boating work. When
it switched to helicopters in 2003 and was renamed as Composite FX, the company's
confidence in the Deltron brand and Ben's Paint Supplies—a Platinum Distributor
in Gainesville—ensured that the Mosquitos would be all PPG-painted. The popular
helicopters are sold as piloted one-seat models or as drones, and customers can
personalize their paint schemes. The ultralight helicopters are 26' long with rotors more
than 19' in diameter. The team at Composite FX says business is really taking off.
